How to start a blog?
After having little knowledge about the meaning of the blog, it is time we begin to create a blog. How do I create a blog? The trick is very easy and free. In this discussion we will set up a blog using Blogger platform.
Steps to create a blog in Blogger is as follows:
Visit Blogger.com, once you get into the site, click on the following button:
After clicking the button, you will be taken on a new page is a page to fill in your data such as email, password, and so forth.
Furthermore, after filling the data, click Continue then you will be taken on a new page is the page to name your blog. On this page you are asked to give your blog name as well as giving your blog address (domain), for example http://yourblog.blogspot.com and so forth. To find out if your desired blog address is still available, please enter your blog address and then click on Check availability link. If the address is not used by another person, then you can use it and continue to the next stage. But if the address you want already used by another person, please look for other addresses that are still available. After obtaining your desired blog address, please click Continue to go to the next step. See the picture below:
The next step is to choose a template for your blog. In this step you are prompted to select templates (views) your blog from the list provided by Blogger. Please select the one you want, later on you can replace with another template, you can search for them from many blogs or sites that provide templates for free.
After selecting an appropriate template to your liking, please click continue to finish creating your blog. Next page to tell you that your blog has been created.
Congratulations, now you have a blog. To start posting, please click on the Start Blogging button as shown in the picture.
